Going to bed with knee pain :(
Had an incredible leg massage an hour ago and I’m still kinda all floaty n warm n high on endorphins…
Once a week massage on my calves, hamstrings, ITB’s and glutes is part of the new knee pain rehab plan, which also includes specific calf and hamstring exercises, stretches and foam rolling.
*grumpy face*
My wisdom teeth are pushing through again… I should’ve had them taken out at the beginning of Dec, but I guess I procrastinated.
Argh… This sucks…
68kgs! Goal weight for the year! Whoop whoop

Went shopping today for some more formal wear for a family wedding this weekend (I’ve been meaning to slowly upgrade my wardrobe anyway) and as usual when im looking for clothes that aren’t the casual shirts n shorts that I usually wear, I got frustrated. I have a 31 inch waist and I’m 5ft4/1.62m tall. This causes some problems… I’m never able to buy trousers without having them tailored/taken up, but often the 32inch waist trousers fit my waist (and butt, :p) better but they’re too baggy around the crotch area. Then the 30inch one’s usually fit my legs overall a bit better, but they cut the blood flow around the hips, so thats not good. So essentially I go looking for trousers that are sized slightly wrong… Shirts are a problem too, because a ‘small’ has the right arm length and overall length but I can’t breathe in them. A ‘medium’ has a nice fit, but the arms and overall length are stupid long, like a long sleeved mini-skirt. It’s as if the overwhelming male body type clothing stores in SA cater for is slim and 5ft10. It really bugs me. Eventually I found metallic grey and medium grey trousers that fit right (both just need to be taken up, of course) and two formal shirts (black and white). So I’m thinking black square(ish)-front shoes, metallic grey trousers, white shirt (sleeves rolled up) and a thin-style black tie… Mmm
Gym. Is. Done. Instead of advancing my weight training program by increasing the weight, I’ve actually just slowed down the tempo (of the movements). I used to train explosively, just a few years back actually, when I was still clinging to the last strands of my childhood dreams of being a professional athlete. And I used to be a gymnast. So I’ve never really weight trained at slower speeds, which are more appropriate for increases in muscle mass, rather than strength and power. And it’s tough…! It’s pretty uncomfortable, squats especially. Blurg…
Yup, that’s my leg right there
